Sole-proprietor · Pre-accounting · Demand validation

An honest read on a weak primary track.

A Citi D10X concept for sole-proprietor pre-accounting with a card-attach hypothesis. Primary track validated weakly. The honest read reshaped the product roadmap rather than producing a recommendation deck pretending to be confident.

OutcomePrimary track validated weakly; secondary card-attach hypothesis unmeasured

Approach.

Demand test on the primary value proposition: pre-accounting for sole proprietors. Two ad themes (Competitors vs Expense Tracking) surfacing whether the audience was a category-shopper or a problem-shopper. The card-attach secondary hypothesis was meant to be measured downstream of the primary signup but the form field that captured it was inadvertently empty across the campaign.

Outcome.
